I was listening Anoushka Shankar’s calming sitar while painting this piece and was visualising the cycle of a woman’s love life. When a woman loves deeply, she gives birth to new life & home. She gives birth to paradise. She sheds her blood and sacrifices herself with joy. But when she’s not valued – a women rage becomes dark, destructive & acidic. While the end of the cycle, she reaches a serene shore – when she becomes “Whole & Free”.
